Bohemian Rhapsody

Every Friday Chris Nitz does a cool feature on his site called “Beer Label Friday”.  I love to shoot beer labels, whether they be on taps, kegs, glasses, cans or bottles.  So when I came across a 12 pack of Bohemia a while back, I knew I had to shoot it.  The best part?  Drinking them first of course!

Once the delicious, cold, refreshing, nectar was gone (and after a week of my lovely wife asking “Are you ever going to throw those away?”), I lined up the empties on our dining room table, grabbed some white foam core (fill bounce), some black foam core (background), my speedlight and Westcott 42″ shoot through umbrella.  Light was directly above and on axis with the camera, 54mm at f2.8, 1/250 sec.

Happy Friday!

HAHA! My wife make me take my empties to the basement or she puts them in the recycling container. This is such a great shot and I like how you gave some insight onto your lighting setup. Awesomeness man, just awesome!
